Christian McCaffrey will have at least three touchdowns

Christian McCaffrey is a running back at heart, but there is no doubt he is making waves in the passing game. After scoring two touchdowns through the air on Thursday against the Steelers, I fully expect him to have a major impact in the game for the Panthers on Sunday. As a result, I don’t think it’s a stretch to predict that he will score at least three overall touchdowns on Sunday.

McCaffrey had one touchdown on the ground, and two touchdowns through the air as mentioned, giving him three in total for the game. That was his most on the season. His 79.6 receiving grade was his highest since the team’s opener against the Dallas Cowboys. In the opener, he received a 87.3 receiving grade. His 80.8 rushing grade was his highest of the season as well. Although Thursday’s game was a loss, McCaffrey was one of the few bright spots. He really put his entire skill set together to put forth a complete game.

He has really emerged as one of the top weapons in the Panthers passing game. If he can keep up this level of play, it would not be unreasonable to predict that he go to the Pro Bowl. McCaffrey has found ways to be able to help the Panthers in multiple aspects of the offense. Much of the credit should go to offensive coordinator Norv Turner. McCaffrey has had a great year, and I would expect that to continue on Sunday.
