The Panthers lost a heartbreaker on Sunday.

Sunday was a tough pill to swallow. There is no doubt about that. The Carolina Panthers had chances to win the game and keep the momentum alive, and they failed to do it. Of course, that was just the end result of what was a competitive football game. There were many good things to come out of this game as well. Even still, it was a mixed bag of results as the Panthers have to swallow yet another loss.

In this contest we saw the emergence of promising players which was a good thing. On the flipside, we saw the Panthers get exposed in a couple areas, which of course was a bad thing. Putting it all together, we saw many highs and a few lows. In other words, it was just another Sunday between the hashmarks as the Panthers continue one of the more difficult parts of their schedule. It will be interesting to see if they can bounce back next week.

Without further ado we make our three key takeaways from Sunday’s loss to the Lions.
