Turnover Margin

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have the worst turnover margin in the entire NFL and their record reflects the weakness. Twenty-three interceptions have been thrown over the course of 11 games, more than a two per game average, and if the Panthers hope to win they must create some more for themselves on Sunday.

In four Buccaneers victories they had just three interceptions versus 19 in seven losses. Carolina forced two in the first meeting, including a game clinching fourth-quarter interception by rookie cornerback Donte Jackson.

Combined with a turnover on downs the Panthers generated 14 points by winning the turnover battle and won by the same margin.
