The Panthers need to make these five things happen in December

It is officially December 1. With the calendar change, that means the National Football League regular season is close to being over and the postseason is almost underway. The Carolina Panthers are in a bit of a rut right now. Having lost three straight games, they look to start off the month of December right with a win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday. However, beating the Buccaneers is not all that they have to do. They have several opponents that they will face this month that will give them a challenge.

They are still very much in the thick of the playoff hunt. They just need to focus on winning games and doing so convincingly. How they fare over this next stretch of games will go a long way to telling us what kind of team they are. Are they the dominant team we expected them to be? On the other hand, do they not have what it takes? The month of December is crucial and we will learn a lot about this team in the coming weeks.

Without further ado, we take a look at five things the Carolina Panthers must do in the month of December.
