One of the best units in all of football, the Panthers linebackers have a slightly above average performance, at best. Luke Kuechly leads the team in tackles, but better play from the four in front of this group would lead to a better overall performance.

Thomas Davis is in a contract year and after originally mulling retirement, seemed to change his mind following a four game suspension to start the season. A poor end to the year could leave him hungry but a coaching change may not provide for an invitation to return, even if he so desires.

The performance of Shaq Thompson has been a highlight and he should generate more opportunities down the stretch. If, in fact, fans are witnessing the final days of Davis then these last few games should be relished regardless of the outcome.
