The Carolina Panthers season (jobs?) hinge on a Week 14 performance at Cleveland this week.

Four consecutive losses by the Carolina Panthers led to more uncertainty around the franchise this week. Quarterback Cam Newton‘s health, the future of coach Ron Rivera and what players we are watching (or have watched) play their final snaps in a Panthers uniform are all up in the air.

Despite the slide, Carolina remains in the playoff picture as they currently reside one game out of the wild card but have a difficult schedule ahead to finish the season. Two games remain against divisional leader New Orleans, but a loss this week would seemingly make those games irrelevant.

At this point, the Panthers cannot afford to look past anyone and Cleveland has improved behind rookie quarterback Baker Mayfield and running back Nick Chubb. The Browns have lost only twice in six home games this season and Carolina has not performed well on the road – not a good combination.

Continue to see how the Panthers win, change the current course of their season and remain in the playoff conversation.
