Run CMC

Running back Christian McCaffrey has flourished with the offensive play calling of coordinator Norv Turner. Setting franchise records and on a trajectory to potentially reach 1,000 yards rushing and receiving, McCaffrey has carried the load for the Panthers this season. Establishing him on the ground early will be key against the Browns.

Everyone has seen the film from last week and expectations are Newton is not going to challenge opponents down the field. If not, then expect Cleveland to stack the box in an attempt to bottle up McCaffrey and any other players Carolina attempts to get going in the run game.

To be successful, the offensive line must be at the top of their game and the Panthers need to find success moving the football. Getting McCaffrey off to a good start, in addition to controlling the clock and not having to rely on the pass will be critical to the Panthers success.
