Carolina Panthers: 2019 Senior Bowl players to watch

The offensive line was decimated by injuries even before the regular season began last season but Panthers coaches and front office did a nice job of filling the holes as they appeared. While the group wasn’t one of the best in the league, they did perform well at times and display the depth of talent available at one of the most important positions in football.

That said, Carolina could use some help in the interior especially. The retirement of center Ryan Kalil leaves a giant hole in the middle and Tyler Larsen, who has played both guard and center, is the current front-runner to replace him so adding another guard would be key.

"Deiter was a solid blocker for the Badgers in 2018, although he really did not get tested by an elite interior rusher. He was a good against the run and steady in pass protection. The Badgers had Deiter starting at left guard in 2018, and playing guard is the right position for him in the NFL despite playing tackle in 2017."
