The Panthers have one outside option covered with Moore and slot positions can be filled by Samuel or running back Christian McCaffrey. What Newton and the Carolina offense need is someone who can stretch the field while providing a size advantage – the hopeful outcomes for both Benjamin and Funchess.

Tyrell Williams is a proven candidate to fit this scenario. He’s 6-foot-4, 205 pounds and already registered a 1,000 yard season during his sophomore campaign. Only four years into his career, the potential ceiling for Williams remains high.

Coupled with Moore, Samuel, Damiere Byrd and occasionally McCaffrey out wide, offensive coordinator Norv Turner would have a field day designing route combinations for the Panthers unique lineup.
