It would be a storybook ending for Charlotte native Garrett Bradbury to return home for a chance with the Panthers and it’s not entirely out of the question. Bradbury enjoyed a nice career for the NC State Wolfpack after changing positions from tight end to center and although currently projected as a second or third round pick, has the athleticism to start immediately for a team in need.

Carolina is one of those teams and although Larsen would be the front-runner, seeing him battle it out with a rookie should provide some entertaining preseason action. Of course, quarterback Cam Newton has some familiarity with Larsen, but an entire offseason and preseason of preparation could put Bardbury on the field.

Watch as he performs this week and see if he can boost the current projections. If so, it may push him too high in order to be considered by Carolina but if he remains a day two or three pick, then the Panthers should be in play.
