Elgton Jenkins, C

6-foot-4, 304 pounds

Playing weekly against SEC competition, Mississippi State center Elgton Jenkins put together some quality film for coaches to review. Probably the first center off the board when April rolls around, the importance Hurney places on the position will determine if Jenkins is a fit for Carolina.

The Panthers are on the clock at No. 16 in the first-round and haven’t selected an offensive lineman first overall since the 2003 draft. It was then that Hurney picked tackle Jordan Gross out of Utah as his string of first-round homeruns was just beginning.

If Hurney finds Elgton to be worthy of a first-round pick, he could be the answer to replace Kalil next season.
