Five OL Carolina Panthers prospects to watch during the NFL Combine

The Panthers could arguably select any one of the offensive line positions first and not be considerably ridiculed as bolstering the unit responsible for protecting a franchise quarterback is never a bad thing. If Hurney feels another position should receive priority early, then finding a quality lineman later in the draft would be beneficial.

How Oklahoma tackle Cody Ford performs during the NFL Combine will be watched closely by all in attendance. An intriguing prospect with the capability to perform at tackle or guard, finding the right fit will be key to his long term success.

Ford is currently projected as a first or second round pick but his ability to impress this week could put him firmly into the day one conversation. If so, it could lead to Carolina looking elsewhere for help outside of the center position.
