Virginia native Clelin Ferrell made a name for himself throughout the Carolinas during his time at Clemson University. As a dominant pass rusher and stand out defensive end, Ferrell is more of a 4-3 contributor but could step in and start immediately.

Part of a dominant defensive line, his ability to stand out at the professional level raises concern but his tape and upcoming combine performance are sure to put many of those issues to rest. Projected as a first-round selection, the Panthers could potentially grab Ferrell with their current pick.

Adding his talent opposite Addison and with other young pass rushers should provide a solid foundation for Carolina to work with entering next season.
