Rashan Gary was an impact performer for the Michigan Wolverines during college and is expected to be an immediate starter in the NFL. Battling Bosa for the top ranking defensive end position, how each performs during the combine is sure to impact their standing.

If Gary impresses, the Panthers could be inclined to move up in order to land someone who can start in Week 1 with a high ceiling. However, Carolina has many needs and while the free agent period should lend more insight to where their focus is on day one, it’s a safe bet if Gary remained on the board at No. 16, he would be selected.

A lot rides on how these soon-to-be rookies perform at the combine, during interviews and on the tests that are administered. Watch to see if Gary elevates his name into top-10 conversations this weekend.
