NFL Combine - Day 1

Mitch Hyatt, OT – Clemson

6-foot-5, 303 pounds

Starting every game at left tackle for the national champion Clemson Tigers, Hyatt is an interesting target. His NFL potential appears to be at guard, due to his size, but Hyatt’s versatility and ability to fill in at tackle in an emergency is a huge benefit.

Being able to play multiple positions coupled with his durability should increase his draft stock significantly. Hyatt set school records for most starts (54) and snaps (3,624) during his collegiate playing days, in addition to facing some of the top pass rushers in the country every day at practice.

A former High School All-American, Hyatt continued his dominance by adding a Collegiate All-American selection, two national championships and was back-to-back winner of the Jacobs Blocking Award – given to the conference’s most outstanding blocker.
