Carolina Panthers NFL Draft targets from Alabama Pro Day
A few potential Carolina Panthers targets from the Alabama Pro Day.
Not every NFL hopeful receives an invitation to participate in the combine and as a result, collegiate pro days have become more familiar. Following their visit to Indianapolis, Carolina Panthers coaches, scouts and general manager Marty Hurney travel around to different schools evaluating prospects in an effort to prepare for the upcoming NFL Draft.
One of the most intriguing workouts in the country takes place at the University of Alabama, where coach Nick Saban has won five national championships and reached the title game in each of the past four seasons. It is here where many hope to find the next big star or franchise player who can help their team succeed.
The gathering brought a distinguished group from the NFL, including Hurney himself. The Panthers currently own the sixteenth overall pick in the draft and recent additions to both the offensive and defensive lines, open up the possibility for Carolina to look elsewhere with their first selection.
Alabama has plenty of athletes who will hear their names called throughout the draft, including many in the first couple of rounds. Continue to see who Hurney and the Panthers may be targeting from Tuscaloosa.
