A quality mix of youth, speed and veteran leadership makes the Panthers receiving corps one of the most exciting position groups to keep an eye on leading up to the season. Given his resources, Hurney has done a good job of putting weapons around Newton for what could be one of his best seasons yet – if he stays healthy.

The absence of a household name is reminiscent of the 2015 season where Newton completed nearly 60-percent of his passes for 3,837 yards and 35 touchdowns en route to winning the league MVP award.

Behind D.J. Moore, Torrey Smith and Chris Hogan there remains plenty of other guys who can contribute and make an impact on the offense.
