D.J. Moore

D.J. Moore should definitely be a fantasy football pickup for your team. After the success he had last year, he looks to build off that in 2019. His skill and athleticism should continue to be tremendous assets for the former Maryland product.

Last year, Moore caught 55 passes for 788 yards and two touchdowns. He wasn’t even ranked in many fantasy football rankings, both points per reception and non-points per reception. This year, that may change. ESPN’s Matthew Berry has Moore ranked as the 24th-best points per reception receiver. Mike Clay has him ranked as the 27th-best points per reception receiver. Eric Karabell has him ranked as the 24th-best points per reception receiver.

Even in a non-PPR league, Moore’s stock has certainly gained more traction over the last season. In Mike Clay’s non-PPR rankings, Moore is slotted at number 56.

I see more as a borderline second-to-definite-third-round pick. The wide receiver class with the likes of Michael Thomas, AJ Green, Julio Jones, and Antonio Brown is very deep. He could go higher depending on how the draft board shakes out. I don’t see him going unrecognized this year, whereas that may have been the case in some leagues last year. Especially for Panthers fans, he may be a must-pick this year.
