Javien Elliott, CB

Cornerback Javien Elliott was an under-the-radar addition from NFC South divisional rival Tampa Bay. While defensive lineman Gerald McCoy garners all of the headlines, Elliott has quietly been making his own case to earn a regular season roster position.

His ability to play the nickel position is a positive attribute and one that will help him in this defense. Against New England, Elliott recorded two tackles and broke up a pass. Currently on the bubble, his practice performances have to keep Elliott in the conversation for earning a full-time spot.
