The Carolina Panthers travel to Arizona in Week 3 to take on the Cardinals. Both teams are winless, however, to the Cardinals credit they do have a tie.

The Panthers enter Week 3 after back to back devastating losses at home. The team lost a close game to the Los Angeles Rams by a score of 30-27 in Week 1. They also lost in Week 2 to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, 20-14.

The Cardinals had a rare Week 1 tie with the Detroit Lions. 27-27 was the final score. They lost a close game to the Baltimore Ravens by a score of 23-17.

Obviously, neither team is off to the start that they envisioned themselves having coming into the year. The Panthers were supposed to be much improved with a healthy Cam Newton at quarterback. The Cardinals were supposed to have an unstoppable passing attack led by rookie quarterback Kyler Murray.

Turns out Newton isn’t all that healthy after reaggravating an ankle injury that he suffered in the third preseason game. Murray has put up decent statistics but has been unable to make the key throws to get the Cardinals into the win column yet.

Both teams have a lot of questions and concerns to address heading into Week 3 without a win.

Cat Crave will focus on the key questions that the Panthers must address in this matchup.
