From the outset, Carolina appeared to move the football at will against the Cardinals defense. An early opportunity was squandered when Allen fumbled the football while taking a sack but the unit recovered and continued to shine.

Completing four touchdown passes, Allen found tight end Greg Olsen twice, in addition to D.J. Moore and Curtis Samuel. Running back Christian McCaffrey tallied nearly half of his 153 rushing yards on the longest touchdown run of his career (76 yards) while also catching three balls for 35 yards.

Allen was sacked twice, including the first possession fumble and another late that nearly resulted in a similar outcome but Carolina recovered the football. Overall, it was undoubtedly the best production to date through three games.
