The Panthers head back home to Carolina to take on the Jacksonville Jaguars in a Week 5 matchup. Both teams are an even 2-2 to start out the 2019 season.

After an 0-2 start at home, the Panthers took care of business on the road to even their record at 2-2 through four weeks. Backup quarterback Kyle Allen took over the reins of the offense in Week 3 and is looking to get the team its’ first home win of the year.

The Jaguars are off to a similar start. They started the season off 0-2 before having their own backup quarterback, Gardner Minshew II, lead them to two straight victories.

Both teams are built to run the ball and play sound defense. Their offenses are led by the young running backs Christian McCaffrey and Leonard Fournette.

The teams are pretty even heading into Week 5. The Panthers are currently 3.5 point favorites at home. ESPN Matchup Predictor gives Carolina a 57.9 percent chance to win the game.

With both teams being very even talent-wise, the game will come down to whichever team wants it more.
