No. 2: Defense has to contain Leonard Fournette

The Panthers’ defense will have the tough task of stopping Leonard Fournette who is the No. 3 rusher in the NFL with 404-yards on the ground thus far.

Fournette is coming off a huge Week 4 game against the Denver Broncos running for an impressive 225-yards.

The Panthers defense has yet to allow a 100-yard rusher this season. If they can keep Fournette contained, they will put the pressure on Minshew to have to make the big plays throwing the ball.

Minshew has gotten off to a great start for the Jaguars, but he is still a very inexperienced NFL quarterback. He has not made many mistakes in his short career, but he has also not yet faced off against a defense as talented as Carolina’s.

If the Panthers’ can make Jacksonville one dimensional on offense, then they might be able to create some turnovers.
