The Panthers managed to beat the Buccaneers in number of passing yards during their first meeting, but Tampa Bay beat Carolina in number of receiving touchdowns. This time around the undefeated Kyle Allen will be calling the shots and should get a little more offensive production considering that the Panthers learned from their previous mistakes. However, the Panthers should also be wary that the Buccaneers will be looking to capitalize on the Panthers overconfidence.

Last week’s Buccaneers tackle leader Carlton Davis was ejected from the matchup against the Saints for a helmet-to-helmet hit. He asserted that he “just made a tackle”, but the tape shows a clear lead with the helmet.

Davis will bring all of the fire he can for this game and he will absolutely be looking to extend his tackling tenure against a divisional opponent. Particularly if it’s at the expense of the Panthers offensive production powerhouse.
