The absence of Demar Dotson will have big implications for this game. Maybe the Buccaneers will get lucky like the Panthers did, but if they don’t then Carolina will have a serious advantage in this matchup. The bane of the Buccaneers could play right into the strength of the Panthers pass rush and possibly bolster the run defense.

Josh Wells landed with the Bucs after being released by the Jacksonville Jaguars following the preseason. He has not started a game at all this season and the Bucs are looking for him to guard against one of the top-ranked defenses in the NFL this year.

Last week Tampa Bay gave up six sacks. Who knows how many they’ll give up this week?
