Will the Carolina Panthers take momentum from a winning streak across the pond and into their bye week?

The Carolina Panthers extended their win streak to three games on Sunday with an exciting victory against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Now, they’ll face a familiar opponent in unfamiliar territory in their second matchup of the season against division rival Tampa Bay.

With so many Panthers players on the injury reports in recent weeks, Carolina has gotten a real opportunity to showcase their depth and positional flexibility. Cornerback Ross Cockrell has shown that he can at least hold his own on the outside in place of an injured Donte Jackson.

Sixth-round pick Dennis Daley started his first NFL game at left tackle this past Sunday and passed with flying colors, while Reggie Bonnafon took his second carry of the season for a game clinching touchdown in place of a cramping Christian McCaffrey.

The Panthers have proven that they are a deep team and depth is so important for a team’s playoff hopes during a grueling 16 game season. When this team is back at full strength (including quarterback) they may be one of the best in the NFC.

Here’s who I’ll be watching closely in the early hours of Sunday morning.
