Touchdowns NOT Field Goals

The Panthers didn’t score a single touchdown in the Week 2 matchup against the Bucs. Kicker Joey Slye hit four field goals and Kuechly stuffed a run play in the endzone for a safety on defense. Carolina lost that game 20-14.

It’s tough to imagine that the Panthers would have lost that game if they were able to get into the endzone at least once.

More from Cat Crave

The Buccaneers have a high-powered offense that scores the fifth-most points per game in the league. The Panthers can’t expect to win this game by having Slye be their only scoring threat on offense.

Kyle Allen has done a great job not throwing interceptions which is what kills a lot of offensive scoring drives in the NFL. The Panthers have proved that they can move the ball down the field led by McCaffrey so finishing drives off with touchdowns should not be too much to ask for in this game.

If the Panthers can finish their drives off with seven points instead of three, then look for them to come out with the victory in London heading into the bye week with a winning record.
