These Carolina Panthers went above and beyond in the first half of the season.

The Carolina Panthers have had an intriguing first half. Sitting with a record of 4-2, not many people predicted that they would be in this spot right now. Heading into the bye week, there are a lot of positives. For one, the offense seems to be clicking, and the defense is playing even better.

If someone had told me last year that the defense would be the calling card for this team, I would have laughed. Nevertheless, the defense has proven that they can put it together. Of course, the addition of Gerald McCoy certainly help matters. Heading into the bye week, they have to prepare for a tough San Francisco team. A win over the 49ers is going to tell a lot about the Carolina Panthers moving forward.

I can’t wait to see the second half of the season unfold. The Carolina Panthers have a lot of things going right for them and that is certainly music to the ears of head coach Ron Rivera. Without further ado, I take a look at three first-half MVPs. There are many players that could fit
