San Francisco 49ers (5-0) at Washington Redskins (1-5), 1:00pm

Not a divisional matchup but it is the only game on the schedule that features two future Panthers opponents. A trip to San Francisco awaits in Week 8 and judging by the respective starts for San Francisco and Washington, the 49ers should remain undefeated.

Coach Kyle Shanahan is familiar with Carolina after spending two years as the Falcons offensive coordinator before taking over on the west coast but this could also be favorable for Carolina. They now have two weeks in order to prepare and securing a victory on the opposite coast against a previously undefeated team would ignite some momentum for the remainder of the season.

Washington visits Bank of America Stadium later in the year (Week 13) but Panthers fans can also get an idea of what to expect for that matchup by tuning in here.
