The Carolina Panthers should sign Antonio Brown

This may not be what some Panther fans want to hear, but the Carolina Panthers should absolutely sign All-Pro wide receiver Antonio Brown.

I know, I know what all good ole Panther fans are going to say “He’s a cancer!” Or maybe “He’s a cry baby!” Or even worst “What about what the legal pending cases?” The truth is,  most wide receivers in the NFL cry for targets unless your Larry Fitzgerald who is just the standard in this league for how to carry yourself on and off the field.

Next how is this guy a cancer? He didn’t destroy the Steelers Super Bowl chances all those years. How about looking at Big Ben? He has 30 touchdown passes in his playoff career, and he also has 24 interceptions ! That appears to be more of a cancer than Brown’s 51 Recs, 837 yards, and  4 touchdowns in the postseason.

I won’t even mention his regular season numbers. Well, yes I will 841 catches, 11,263 yards, and 75 touchdowns. Not too bad for a cancer I’d say. And last but not least, the pending cases. Well, how many games did Big Ben miss for his sexual assault cases back in 2009 and 2010? I’ll wait. In fact hes been given contract extensions since then and is consider the leader of the team. Lets discuss why he should be signed to the Panthers organization.

David Tepper is the owner of the Carolina Panthers. He is also former part owner of the Steelers Antonio Brown’s former team. So,  he knows Brown well. Next, Cam Newton we all know has been struggling as of late and I contributed it to fun or lack there of in Carolina. Well how about Brown for fun?  Cam said in his Instagram story this summer he enjoyed working out with Antonio. Last but not least Antonio Brown and Christian McCaffery along with Curtis Samuel and D.J. Moore would be just down right scary. Tie that in with a healthy superman and a defense that has been getting after quarterbacks all year this team would be primed for something special.

This team has never made big splashes in free agency, and i think Tepper is the kind of owner who wants that to change. I could really see this happening and giving the Panthers the kind of push they need to get there first ring in the Queen city.
