Three free agents the Carolina Panthers should target after the season.

The NFL trade deadline has passed and while many expected the Carolina Panthers to go after a wide receiver that could bring more of a true number one threat, it just wasn’t the case. Carolina has a team full of slot receivers and no true wide out, just a bunch of really good complementary guys.

D.J. Moore and Curtis Samuel are no scrubs. In fact, Panthers legend Steve Smith himself said that Moore is the only guy he feels like can take his spot in Carolina. Through two seasons all we’ve seen is 93 receptions, 1,251 yards and just three touchdowns. Yes, you read that right. Three career touchdown in two seasons.

It left me wondering why does Carolina never try to make a big splash in the offseason or even with a trade? In fact, some fans even become upset at the thought of bringing in high profile guys. I’ve been on record saying multiple times that Antonio Brown should be on the Panthers. I’ve said that Carolina should’ve gone after big names like Earl Thomas and Mark Ingram. Ingram, who knows the division, could’ve been a true asset and would have taken some of the burden off Christian McCaffery.

This may really make some fans mad but here’s three free agents I’d love to see Carolina attempt to get for the 2020 season.
