Jadeveon Clowney, DE

I don’t care how loaded the Panthers are at defensive end/outside linebacker, Jadeveon Clowney is a game changer and he’s local to the area. Hailing from nearby Rock Hill (SC), Clowney played his college ball at the University of South Carolina and he has multiple ties still to the state.

This defensive player added to a team that’s already strong at the position would change the landscape of the NFC South considerably. The Saints have been an offensive powerhouse the last few seasons and much like the Bears and Vikings, when you have a quarterback that’s carving up the division – much like Aaron Rodgers – you beef up on defense and get after him.

Drew Brees could retire at the end of this season, you never know, but if not he’s the biggest threat to the Panthers Super Bowl run. Yes, this would require letting someone go or trading someone, but that’s what you do to sign division changing pieces.
