The Carolina Panthers head back home to Charlotte to host the Tennessee Titans in a Week 9 matchup. Both teams still have their playoff hopes alive as we near the halfway point of the season.

The Panthers enter Week 9 of the season coming off a blowout loss to the San Francisco 49ers. The 49ers dominated Carolina in all phases of the game to win 51-13. Despite the tough loss, the Panthers still have a winning record of 4-3 and are well within the playoff hunt.

The Titans are coming off back-to-back wins since benching their starting quarterback Marcus Mariota for Ryan Tannehill. They have an even 4-4 record entering the Week 9 matchup.

Neither team has gotten off to the start that they may have hoped, but both are well within reach of making a playoff run.

The Panthers are second in NFC South behind the New Orleans Saints who are 7-1. The Titans are in last place in the AFC South but are only one win behind the division-leading Indianapolis Colts.

Carolina has a few key injuries to monitor before the game. Defensive tackle Gerald McCoy, safety Eric Reid and linebacker Shaq Thompson have all been listed as questionable to play against the Titans.

The Titans have some injury concerns of their own with cornerback Malcolm Butler and tight end Delanie Walker both questionable to play in the game.

ESPN‘s matchup predictor gives the Panthers a 51% chance to win the game, so these two teams are about as even as it gets in the NFL.

After the lopsided loss to the 49ers, the Panthers enter the Week 9 matchup with a lot of questions about where the team is headed.

Read on to see what Cat Crave believes to be the three burning questions that the Panthers need to address in order to get a win at home against the Titans.
