Question 2: Can Panthers continue 3rd down success?

The Panthers were 5-for-14 on third downs in last week’s game against the Titans. While this isn’t great, it was much improved from the previous week against the 49ers. They were also 2-for-2 on fourth down attempts last week.

If Carolina hopes to leave Green Bay with a victory, then they must be able to stay on the field for long drives by keeping the chains moving.

The Packers enter the matchup with the 22nd ranked run defense in the NFL. Expect the Panthers to run the ball a lot on first and second down to keep third down at a short distance. This means a heavy dose of McCaffrey should be the offensive gameplan for Carolina. What else is new?
