Another Carolina Panthers setback is beginning to feel all too familiar…

The Carolina Panthers suffered their third loss in a row last Sunday and it could be the end of their playoff hopes despite the fact that they are still technically in the running. This year’s slide is beginning to look a lot like last year when Carolina dropped seven in a row throughout the second half.

It appears the team is running on fumes at this point and the only people keeping them relevant are running back and potential league MVP Christian McCaffrey, along with receiver D.J. Moore. Those two, among a handful of others, provide some encouragement for the future of this team, but for now there are glaring issues that need to be addressed.

Sunday was the fourth time this season that the Panthers lost by one score and it was the second time they lost by only three with points left on the field by the kicker, Joey Slye. Quarterback Kyle Allen’s best game was marred by a loss, and that’s not the only thing to be worried about.
