Lincoln Riley

Lincoln Riley has been one of the hottest names in the NFL head coaching search. His name has seemed to pop up everywhere. He has done extremely well at Oklahoma. The big question is if he can get the job done at the professional level.

There is no doubt when you look at his collegiate resume what he has been able to accomplish. A two-time Big 12 Champion, a Big 12 Coach of the Year recipient in 2018, and the Associated Press Big 12 Coach of the Year in 2018 are just some of the honors on his resume. He has a 35-5 record in three seasons at Oklahoma.

The type of offense he runs at Oklahoma is very complex. It features a lot of slants as well as bootleg and post plays. Having receivers like DJ Moore and Curtis Samuel run successful slants certainly is exciting to think about. In a day and age where offense is king in the National Football League, an offense that features different looks and as high tempo would certainly be a bonus. The fact that he is a quarterback is certainly a bonus as well.
