Paying dividends

How great would it be to hear that “the Panthers’ wide receiver tandem of x and y are tearing up the league”. That was the expectation for Moore and Samuel, but that hasn’t lived up to its fullest potential yet. Now that the Panthers know what they’ll get with those two, it’s time to see who can be added for further improvement. My guess is that two wide receivers, a college standout and a veteran looking for a change of scenery, are on the Panthers’ Christmas wish list. Hopefully old Saint Marty can deliver.

This kind of idea has been implemented before with immediate success. Last year the Cowboys added Cooper to help Gallup in his freshman year and they made it to the playoffs. This year the Seahawks added Gordon as a rangy veteran presence even though they already had the enviable rookie Metcalf. We could see the Panthers start a “big and little reveal” of their very own this offseason.
