I’m going straight to the point with this one, because it seems like the Panthers have had trouble stopping anybody offensively. How do you contain Tyler Lockett?

Lockett actually hasn’t been productive in the last few weeks. He had a bad leg contusion against the 49ers and then got the flu. Last week he caught three passes and that was his high for the last several games. That said when he is healthy his connection with Wilson is a special one and has been since the beginning of 2018. A healthy Lockett means Wilson can play off the run and hit Lockett on deep middle passes. The thing that makes Lockett so good is his speed, when healthy, but he is also really smart in his routes. If he can be near 100% against Carolina, Wilson will hit him on 2 or 3 deep crossing patterns because Lockett will simply run precise routes and is faster than whoever is supposed to cover him.
