A high draft pick

I know this may seem like a drag to some, but having the seventh overall pick is certainly something to be excited for in 2020. That pick will give the Panthers a chance to add talent to the roster after what was a dismal 2019 season.

The latest mock draft from CBSSports has the Panthers selecting Oklahoma wideout CeeDee Lamb. Another name I have seen pop up for the Carolina Panthers is defensive tackle Derrick Brown from Auburn. There are certainly many ways that the Carolina Panthers can go with this pick. We will certainly be playing the mock draft game over the course of the next couple of months.

When you consider that the Carolina Panthers already have a ton of talent, adding a seventh pick to the roster can only benefit them. With a new coach and a good mixture of veterans and younger players, the Carolina Panthers will certainly be in for an interesting year. Having a talented rookie in the fold will only be able to help things moving forward.
