The Carolina Panthers got a new coach on Tuesday.

The Carolina Panthers have hired a new football coach. Matt Rhule, formerly of Baylor fame, is coming to town. In what is definitely viewed as a different hire, he becomes the first new coach under owner David Tepper.

Rhule will certainly have his work cut out for him. This is a Carolina Panthers team that still has a lot of talent, but they need to continue to be able to compete with the best in the NFC South. Hopefully, Rhule will be able to leave his mark on the team. We saw how quickly he turned around the Baylor program. Hopefully, he will be able to bring the Carolina Panthers back to prominence. After missing the playoffs the past two seasons, the Panthers are itching for some postseason football.

I take a look at three positives in regards to the hiring of Matt Rhule.
