Carolina Panthers: Analyzing the offense before buying into the draft hype

Running Backs
What more do we need from a position that practically carried the Panthers’ offense in 2019? More depth? Ok, the Panthers are already handling it.
If the Panthers were to take someone from this position group I wouldn’t know whether to be disappointed or concerned. Out of all the people that were in this group just one of them played the bulk of the snaps in 2019.
They have a do-it-all first-rounder, a practice squad standout due to be a superstar, a former fifth-rounder, and a sledgehammer fullback all due to return next year. It doesn’t sound like much, but there’s some untapped potential in this group.
The Panthers don’t have to worry about overworking McCaffrey now that there’s a coordinator who can tailor plays to all of the playmakers’ abilities. Nixon has everything a coach could ask for with this unit, soon we’ll get to see how well his style of coaching meshes with Brady’s coordination
