Carolina Panthers: Analyzing the offense before buying into the draft hype

The highest pick the Panthers might invest in this position group is a third-rounder at best. Why? Because the Panthers already have enough starting talent for these positions and drafting a new guy who has to adapt to the NFL will just repeat the tragedies we’ve seen.
Honestly I can’t understand why people believe the Panthers need a high draft pick from this group when they snatched up two people who play like high draft picks in the 2019 draft. Is GVR not worth a re-signature? Is former second-round pick Greg Little’s career over already? Is all of the “rebuild” talk convincing people that the foundation needs to be torn up?
As much as the line should have done a better job protecting the quarterback in 2019, it’s a lot to ask of the newcomers to get the communication thing down right away and play up to the speed of the NFL. Besides, after a year of playing together and getting a feel of how to operate as a unit it would be bad for the camaraderie of the projected starters if another person was thrown into the mix.
There is such a thing as team chemistry, and with some pieces of the line (particularly the middle and left side) being new to the solution, it stands that the group would need time to get settled. Now that the projected group knows what they need to work on all they need is someone who can clean up the mistakes and bring out the best in them.
