Carolina Panthers: Analyzing the offense before buying into the draft hype

Let me just say this right now: this position is not in danger, people. A lot of news pundits convince us that the Panthers have practically made their decision in this regard, and until today the story has been one of his exit. Mass hysteria has let people become brainwashed just because two stalwart vets aren’t on the team anymore, but please consider how different their situations were.
Greg can still play, but the Panthers are looking for longevity with their personnel; they want youth for the new coaching staff to work with. Luke just didn’t feel like he could play anymore and he went out while he still has his mental health in order.
The network story with Newton in his current state only exists for the sake of relating his relevance to the “big ticket free agents” that are set to hit the market along with possible trade scenarios. Newton isn’t even set to become a free agent this year, and judging from the recent media coverage…it’s safe to say Newton will be a Panther in 2020.
