James Bradberry brings veteran experience to secondary

As of right now, Bradberry has one of the most impressive resumes in the secondary. After Bradberry and Donte Jackson, there aren’t a whole lot of options for the Carolina Panthers to choose from.

According to the most recent depth chart from OurLads.com, Bradberry’s second-in-command so to speak would be Ross Cockrell. Cockrell had a solid season in 2019 to be fair. Playing in 14 games, he recorded 62 tackles and two interceptions. However, he does not have quite the resume that Bradberry does. He doesn’t play at the same high level that Bradberry does.

Bradberry is the unquestioned leader of the secondary. Jackson may be more vocal, but Bradberry has proven to be the glue that has held the unit together. It will be wise for the Carolina Panthers to keep Bradberry, especially considering the secondary has seen a fair amount of turnover over the past couple seasons.
