The impact Luke Kuechly made during his time with the Carolina Panthers cannot be underestimated. He was everything the franchise hoped he would be and more when they used a first-round pick to acquire his services.

His relentless style of play and thumping tackles made him an instant favorite with the Panthers’ fanbase. Kuechly loved nothing more than sticking a big hit on an opposing player before letting his emotions out to further get the crowd involved.

This transformation on the field was staggering when you consider how reserved Kuechly was outside of the lines. He is a composed figure who was capable of turning it on when it mattered most.

It would be a huge shock if Kuechly was not a first-ballot Hall of Famer. He will go down in Panthers’ folklore as one of their greatest ever players and is more than worthy of such a distinction.

If everyone had the sort of commitment and work ethic Kuechly display, the world would be a better place. What was equally as impressive as his on-field work was how much the player gave back to the community, showing he was much more than a big hitter that revolutionized the position.

There will never be another Luke Kuechly. He embodied everything good about the Panthers during his time with the franchise and being named to the NFL’s All-Decade team only increases how fondly he is going to be remembered as a player.
