Binjimen Victor – (Ohio State)

Former Ohio State wide receiver Binjimen Victor is an enigmatic prospect that has the ability to be a star. How he harnesses his natural ability during the early stages of his development is going to go a long way to determining his long-term prospects.

Victor has a massive catch radius and uses his body extremely well. The player possesses the athleticism to outjump opposing cornerbacks and if he can bulk up a bit in the weight room someone is going to have a real player on their hands.

He is coming into the NFL Draft on a high after a fine 2019 campaign for the Buckeyes. Victor ended the season with 34 receptions for 545 yards and six touchdowns. This included a lofty yards-per-catch average of 16 and a season-high catch of 60 yards.

This will give evaluators plenty of encouragement that Victor can transition well to the NFL. He has fantastic hands and an evasive element to his play that can secure valuable yards after the catch.

Victor has no trouble getting his hands on the ball through traffic and under pressure. His route running does need work and any team that drafts him should not expect consistent play right away.

That is the case with most mid-to-late round prospects at wide receiver. It will also suit the Carolina Panthers, who have some established starters on their roster and could allow Victor to learn his craft and at his own pace.
