Cameron Clark – OT (Charlotte)

Cameron Clark has been widely overlooked during the evaluation process. But this should not put teams off from drafting a player that has a significant amount to offer.

Clark is another home state native from the Carolina Panthers’ perspective, which would go down well with their fanbase. The Charlotte standout is an underrated product and has all the tools available to be a real competitive force in the pros.

The player boasts impressive length and has the heavy hands needed to be a bookend tackle in run support. This does not necessarily transcend into the passing game as his footwork is a concern and will need coaching up.

There is a real possibility of moving Clark to guard given his current style. This is somewhere the Panthers really need to strengthen and if they can get him with a late-round selection, it could be a real steal.

Calrk will not be without his suitors, which could seem him fly up draft boards on the night. The Kansas City Chiefs have reportedly also held a video conference meeting with the player as they look for better long-term options to protect stud Super Bowl-winning quarterback Patrick Mahomes.

The Panthers will be looking at defense first with at least their first two selections. If Clark is around after that then he will definitely warrant consideration.
