Thaddeus Moss’ 2019 season

Thaddeus Moss burst onto the scene for LSU during his final season in the college system. He quickly became a favorite target of projected No.1 pick Joe Burrow and was a prolific offensive threat for the Tigers.

Given the time he spent away from football, the standard of his play was remarkable. Moss ended the season with 47 receptions on his way to 540 yards and four touchdowns. This also included a 12.1 yards-per-catch average.

If little was known of Moss’ ability heading into the season, he quickly emerged as one of the most prolific tight end prospects coming into the NFL Draft. His stock elevated considerably with a superb performance in the National Championship success over Clemson to further enhance his growing reputation.

Moss caught five balls for 36 yards and two vital touchdowns on the biggest stage. His game-changing potential is following the same path of Hall of Fame father Randy Moss, who is arguably the NFL’s most dynamic wide receiver in history.

While it is unrealistic to expect that sort of play from his son, there is nothing to suggest that Moss isn’t going to take a tremendous amount of confidence from his 2019 campaign and use that to make a starting spot his own at the next level in the not-too-distant future.
