CeeDee Lamb – WR (Oklahoma)

CeeDee Lamb wasted no time in making a name for himself at Oklahoma. He quickly emerged as a potential NFL star thanks to a series of outstanding displays.

Lamb’s first year in college saw him rack up 807 yards and seven touchdowns on just 46 receptions. This included a 17.5 yard per catch average and also resulted in him being included on the ESPN Freshman All-American team.

Lamb made great strides in 2018 to become one of the premier receiving threats in the country. His exceptional production saw him attain 1,158 yards and 11 touchdowns on 65 receptions to go with a 17.8 yards per catch average.

The arrival of quarterback Jalen Hurts to the Sooners for Lamb’s junior year brought an instant connection that elevated the receiver’s game to new heights. They developed tremendous chemistry and the duo became one of the most dominant tandems in the college system in 2019.

Lamb posted career-highs in yards and touchdown grabs with 1,327 and 14 respectively. He finished the season with 62 receptions and a lofty 21.4 yards per catch average.

This brought with it a wealth of accolades for Lamb, who was a consensus All-American, First-Team All-Big 12, and named as a finalist for the Biletnikoff Award for the best college football receiver.

Lamb showed he was much more than the well-designed offensive scheme implemented by Oklahoma head coach Lincoln Riley. He also showed NFL scouts that he is capable of making a significant impact on a franchise as early as his rookie season.

The Saints, Falcons and Buccaneers all possess potent weapons at wide receiver. If they decided to add another potentially elite prospect in Lamb, it would be a real problem for the Carolina Panthers.
