Carolina Panthers: Full 7-round 2020 NFL Mock Draft
By John Ellis
Bravvion Roy is a monster of a man and follows Matt Rhule to Charlotte from Baylor.
He finished 2019 with 61 combined tackles, 5.5 sacks, and one forced fumble. Roy will be a welcome addition to the defensive line that will be counted upon to move the line of scrimmage back toward the quarterback and make running inside a career decision.
Rhule will know all about the player from their time together in college. This will give him the inside track as to whether or not Roy can make a go of things in the pros.
Jordan Reid from The Draft Network broke down Roy’s skill set during a recent scouting report.
"“A mammoth in the middle of Baylor’s defense, Bravvion Roy was an immovable anchor. With space eaters becoming more of a thing of the past, it’s understandable why the league may be down on him at the moment. Unfortunately for all of us, Roy would’ve tested much better than a prospect of his size because of his athleticism shown throughout his time in Waco. It shouldn’t come as a surprise if Roy turns out to be one of the better Day 3 interior defensive line prospects from this class if his landing spot is ideal.”"
